Job Key Details
Directly supervise all front office personnel and ensures proper completion of all front office duties.
Participate in the selection of front office personnel.
Schedule the front office staff.
Supervise workload during shifts.
Direct and coordinate the activities of the front desk, reservations, guest services, and telephone areas.
Train, cross –train, and retrain all front office personnel.
Evaluate job performance if each front office employee.
Maintain working relationships and communicate with all departments.
Maintain master key control.
Verify that accurate room status information is maintained and properly communicated.
Prepare monthly reports and budget for front office department.
Resolve the guest problem quickly, efficiently, and courteously.
Prepare performance reports related to the front office.
Job Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate for Front Office Manager should preferably hold a Diploma. Degree is desired
Ability to work fast under pressure
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as in a team.
The ideal applicant should have at least two years of hotel front desk supervisory experience, handling cash, accounting procedures, and general administrative tasks
Excellent attention to detail
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
