We are looking for a data entry clerk to type information into our database from paper document
JOB: full time
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Transfer data from paper formats into computer files as well as database systems using keyboards, data recorders or optical scanners
- Type in data provided directly from customers
- Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents there by updating existing data accurately
- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
- Perform regular backups also ensure data preservation
- Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to be sure it is not lost
The jobholder must hold a relevant Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma
Also candidates should have a data entry experience in order for this the should have worked for a period of 1 to 2 years.
Interested applicants should have all the basic as well as necessary knowledge of computer operations.
Ideal applicants should have an outstanding reliability as well as multi tasking abilities.
Experience in sorting and compiling data from various sources
Experience in enforcing data quality standards is a bonus
Finally candidates should have good communication skills
